What is rakeback? Rakeback is a way to recieve some of the rake that you pay each pot back to yourself. Rake is what the pokersite take as a fee for players playing at their site. In onlinepoker a hand is raked when the pot reaches their minimum limit ie $1, when it does they take 5%($0,05) from the pot. If the pot reaches $10 they take 5% of that ($0,50 total.. up to $3 which is the maxrake). If you play NL it's enough that you recieve cards in order for it to count that you contributed rake. So you doesn't actually have to put any money in the pot in order to recieve rakeback on the rake taken. Thats why rakeback is extra profitable for players playing at tables with higher average pots.
